Winter Solstice Paper Ornament

Happy Winter Solstice everyone! Here's a little ornament to celebrate :)

Oh and Ron over at Paperkraft made a little video of it :)
Thanks Ron!

All Saints Store

I went to San Francisco this weekend and shopped! I found this great store called All Saints. Originally from London, All Saints now has just a handful of stores in the US. What drew me inside was the window display of at least 100 of old sewing machines. Everywhere I looked was reference to sewing, like a wall of old spools. Of course I did not leave there with out purchasing a wonderful pair of boots, all leather and comfy! I really do love the look of their fashion line this year too!

I got the boots in the middle!
So cute for little girls too!

I love homemade snowglobes. There pretty easy to make and still so magical.
Make your own like the one's at Well Worn. Super sweet!

Cute Snowman Pops

These cake pops are so cute by Bakerella. She even gives you the recipe! Great idea to the cookie alternative!
These are the easier ones to make!
These hats are a little more trickier.

Inspirational Food Styling

I've been super busy this holiday season and it's not ending anytime soon! This weekend I'll be making a whole lot of cookies! I'm sending a batch over to my son who's in Afghanistan again! He probably won't share my appreciation for these cool photos by Carl Kleiner but I think they're beautiful and just the inspiration to get me going...wouldn't it be fun to stylize food preparations! He did these for IKEA. sweet!
